From Adolfo Suárez Madrid - Barajas to Guadalajara

The nearest airport to Guadalajara is the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas airport, located at 50 km from Guadalajara city.

Connection by public transport from the airport to Madrid city center is easy with multiple options. It is also possible to arrive to Guadalajara using public transport.

Taxi service

By far the easiest, but most expensive, way to get to Guadalajara from the airport is by taxi. LOC can recommend the following company to book trips to/from the airport to/from Guadalajara

Option 1 by public transport: metro + commuter train

Option 2 by public transport: urban + suburban buses

If you arrive to the Guadalajara bus station and you accommodation is AC hotel, Sueño del Infante or Hotel España you can go on foot, in any other case we recommend to take a taxi from the stations to the accommodation.

To rent a car is not recommended due to during the workshop week it is not going to be very useful, no long distances between the different locations.

From Madrid to Guadalajara by bus or commuter train, general information

There are two lines that connect, by commuter train, Madrid and Guadalajara train station: C2 and C8 lines.

Avenida de America is the public transport interchange at Madrid that connects with Guadalajara by bus. These are the available schedules:

From different accommodations to the venue

Although Guadalajara has its own bus network, LOC recommends going on foot from the accommodation to the venue and within the city center, since it is not a large city.
